Salvation Army Celebrates 100 Years in Cuba

The vice president of the Naples, Florida-based Lutgert Companies, Kurt Lutgert is also a well-known speaker and philosopher whose latest book, Whole Light Alignment, is set for publication in 2018. Alongside his work, Kurt Lutgert supports several charities and organizations, such as the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army recently celebrated a century of service in Cuba. The organization marked the occasion by signing up 100 new volunteers. Upward of 1,100 people attended the celebration in Havana, which also marked the first international event for the Salvation Army’s new world leader, General Brian Peddle.

Over the celebration weekend, General Peddle took the opportunity to meet with local media and advocate for the Salvation Army and its mission, both in Cuba and worldwide. He also gave several addresses on the importance of spreading hope and love throughout the world through giving and service.
